Chapter Three: Love's Cruel Game
That night, Lysander kissed me just before he went up to his dormitory. I came to the common room, and Liberty ran up and held me tight. "I'm so sorry, Leah," she whispered. " Can you explain that?" I asked. " Lysander is cheating on you with Magnolia. I saw them kiss on the way to Potions the other day."
Oh my God. My world was totally falling apart. Half of me wanted to yell and scream, but the other half wanted to just have Allen to hold and love forever. I couldn't love Allen. So instead I walked up to Lysander's dormitory and slapped him awake.
"Wuzgoingon?" he grunted. " YOU HATEFUL, UNFAITHFUL, SELFISH PIG!"I screeched. By this time, the whole dormitory was awake now- I can scream loud. A boy was snickering in a corner. I Stupefied him. " I heard that you kissed Magnolia, Lysander Scamander! I have a brain, a heart, and a life!"

"DON'T YOU TELL ME WHAT IT JUST WAS! I HATE YOU!!!! " I was crying. HARD. "I'm sorry," I whispered. I leaned over and kissed him. " I can change for you," he whispered. "I know you can. But one thing.' "What?" "If I catch you with Magnolia again, we're over, mmmkay?" " Uh sure," he said. We kissed again. " I love you, Ly."
Lysander tried to catch me in the hall the next day. He cornered me and tried to kiss me. I held a finger up to his lips. "Save it for the common room, hot shot," I said. " Because..?" he said. " You're going to get the best kiss of your life,' I said. " Great, I'll be ready!" he said. And I would too.
