Magnolia was standing in front of me shaking with fury. She slapped me. There were hot tears running down her cheeks. Then, in a choked voice, she said:
" How much of it did you read? Tell me! CRUCIO!"
It was pain beyond imagine, my very skin was on fire, Death surely would be here for me soon-
"That is quite enough, Miss Crescent!" Never have I been happy to hear Professer McGonagall's voice. " If you do not lower your wand, I will expel you!"
Magnolia was shaking. She began to stutter.
" B-b-but, Professor, I c-c-can't go to the orphange! My b-b-brother and sisters are there! They'll k-k-know I abandoned them!" Tears slid down the girl's fat cheeks.
" DETENTION FOR THREE MONTHS AND NO HOGSMEADE TRIPS UNTIL THIRD YEAR! AND LET THAT TEACH YOU A LESSON! McGonagall screeched.
I was then given a three pound chocolate bar. At least that was some comfort to me.
That next day, Liberty was overjoyed at Magnolia's punishment and celebrated with a toast to Ravenclaw, TO Qudditch, to me!
Even though I felt sorry for Magnolia, I was still happy that she couldn't go to Hogsmeade.
